In Her Mama Era

2024, an iconic year that will be known for all things Taylor Swift; but also, the year that this sweet mama to be enters into a new stage in life--a stage in life that exceeds all mothers' wildest dreams. Kelsey and Dawson with a love story as pure as a Hallmark movie, gracefully led the way in their maternity session, making my job so easy. Kelsey beamed as she expressed her joy and delight in becoming a mother, enchanted by God's blessing. Photographing her reflecting such happiness reminded me of how I felt during all three of my pregnancies, especially my first when everything was so brand new and unexpected; every day was the best day, surpassing each previous day's happenings. The amount of excitement I had for what was to come had me at times in disbelief that the baby growing inside me was mine. How blessed we all are to live where we do and grow babies and raise them where we, as their mother, and they can live safe and sound.

Pretty soon Kelsey and Dawson will be helping their daughter, Briar, adjust to life outside of the womb, giving her a place in this world to laugh, play, and enjoy God's many creations. Kelsey, I know you are in love with this precious little girl. Don't forget to breathe through the tough moments, they soon will turn into memories that you would give anything to relive again. Dawson, your love for your daughter will be different than all of the girls you've loved before. I know you will be a perfect dad for her with open arms for her to crawl into.
